Friction Plate Mill RPM

The friction plate mill enables highly efficient and trouble-free grinding of a wide variety of materials.

Through the patented design of the mill, almost the entire circumference of the housing is utilized. As a result, the material remains in the mill for only one rotation, producing a homogeneous end product with a minimal dust content. This makes the product ideal for further processing in dryers. Another advantage: since no screens are required, there is no need for complex and maintenance-intensive aspiration or filter systems.

Feeding is carried out via one to three feed screws that push the material from the side and below into the mill. The discharge is located centrally at the bottom of the housing. With motor power ranging from 55 to 250 kW, the mill achieves a maximum throughput of approx. 12–65 m³/h, ensuring highly economical operation.
Manufactured to the highest quality standards, the rotor is fine-balanced in accordance with DIN ISO 1940-1, guaranteeing reliable and low-vibration operation.

Equipment:

- Flexible elastomer coupling
- Precision bearings and vibration dampers
- Robust steel frame (special designs available)
- Feeding screws with very easy installation
- Wear-resistant hammers and grinding plates

The mill can be optionally equipped with a range of additional features to meet specific requirements.
