Holiday programme – ‘It's all about the wheel’

For this morning dedicated to cycling, Mühlenstraße in Furth was closed to car traffic and turned into a bike zone. Numerous local residents, the gardening association, the fire brigade and businesses Kfz-Damböck and Rematec helped out with organising and running the event.
‘All Furth helps together’ – that is how Elke Steiger from Rematec summed it up.

At the end, a cheque for €500 was presented to the local children’s cancer charity.

Holiday programme with a good cause

The children had plenty of fun in the programme with a cycling course, first aid, handicrafts and a bike check. Full of enthusiasm, the kids not only gained in their own safety and confidence but were also able to give a little happiness to other children who are currently unable to lead such a carefree life.

Apprentice fair, Gern, 24 September 2022

Arousing interest and finding apprentices
Rematec considers its participation this year at the apprentice fair held at Gern, near Eggenfelden, a complete success. Numerous interested young people came to the stand to learn about the extensive range of tasks undertaken during training.

Training – crucial for our economic future

A high priority for Rematec is to bring the attractiveness of an apprenticeship and the subsequent prospects to the attention of young people. After all, Germany can only remain a strong economic nation if it has well-trained young people.

Craft professions with the best prospects

Rematec is a family-run special machine-building company that operates throughout Europe in the fields of energy supply and recycling technology. Rematec stands for complete plant engineering, machine-building, materials handling and agricultural engineering solutions. For over 20 years its focus has been on development, planning and manufacture, from individual products through to turnkey factories for wood pellet production. Rematec has its own state-of-the-art 3D design and CNC-controlled manufacturing facility – all from a single source.

‘Well-trained young people are our skilled workers of tomorrow,’ says commercial manager Elke Steiger.

Rematec is delighted to welcome three new apprentices

Their professions are industrial clerk, precision mechanic (specialising in machine-building) and dual-curriculum machine-building. Also pictured are the two people responsible for their training and Elke Steiger. ‘We provide comprehensive and practice-oriented training in all the skills for each trade at our location in Furth near Dietersburg.’

Rematec supports Technology for Children

Getting children interested in technology means securing our economic future. 80% of people who opt for a technical profession say that their minds were made up while still children.

‘BUT WHERE DOES A CHILD LEARN ABOUT TECHNOLOGY?’ Too little is being done to promote young technical talent – which is undoubtedly the basis of the economic success of many companies – and to get them excited about technology.
