Trough augers
Trough augers are used for the horizontal transport of free-flowing bulk materials, up to a maximum slope of 15°.
To allow continuous use, thick-walled internal tubes and solid screw windings are welded. The intermediate bearings feature double ball bearings and are specially sealed. The drive is provided by offset geared motors from Nord or SEW.
The screw windings can also be arranged progressively to ensure uniform discharge.
Jam detectors and speed monitors can be fitted on request.
In addition, multiple augers can be arranged side by side in special troughs, thus forming discharge systems.
